INCREASING Activities that could be ENJOYABLE
Trying an activity that could be enjoyable is a way to:
Test some of our thoughts that might be making it tough to try activities.
Help us look at evidence whether our thoughts are accurate or helpful.
Remember, grief is normal and being sad is ok. But if you are feeling sad all the time, doing some activities that could be enjoyable may help.
Doing activities that could be enjoyable isn’t about trying to fix feeling sad. It’s about:
Having a more balanced life.
Doing some things you used to enjoy before the loss.
Exploring new ideas.
We know from lots of studies that increasing the number of activities that we do which could be enjoyable can really help to boost mood and wellbeing.
